The Heart Behind the Sunshine

Hello, I’m Malina Brown (Miss Mimi is what the littles call me). For the past twenty-five years, my life’s work has been centered around children. As a certified Montessori guide and owner of Sunshine House Montessori school, I have had the distinct privilege of watching hundreds of children unfold into their full potential.

But my deepest understanding of parenting doesn’t come from a textbook. It comes from my own home, where I have raised my three grown children. I know firsthand the exhausting, beautiful, and deeply humbling reality of the daily parenting trenches.
